Each new comment left on my blog over the next seven days = my donation of a single canned good to my local food bank. So…the more comments you leave, the more cans I donate to the food bank, the more families we can help! Believe me, I know from personal experience just how much those food bank donations help out.

When I was younger, our family really didn’t have a lot of money and we relied many times on donations to our local food bank. I especially remember one year when a hefty-sized Christmas hamper was dropped off at our apartment and how thankful I felt for the donation of food and toys for our family. I also remember thinking how awesome it was that many other families were going to receive hampers like we did thanks to the flood of donations just before the holidays.

I can honestly still envision that big box wrapped in red Christmas wrapping paper sitting on our dining table just brimming with all kinds of goodies. A gift like that was *truly* unlike any other.

So please help me…family, friends, colleagues, clients past/present/future, my husbands’ co-workers, perfect strangers, everyone…in giving back to my local food bank by leaving a comment on any post on my blog!
