I must apologize to my regular blog stalkers…yes, I know you’re out there! Don’t be shy…say hi!

Anyway, I’ve been so lazy about blogging lately, but I’ve been meaning to share with you a little more about myself! Just some random miscellaneous facts that you may or may not know about me.

1. C.J. stands for Christy Jane

2. My younger sister is also C.J., but she doesn’t dare go by the initials (I called dibbs…I’m older). She goes by her middle name, Joy.

3. I have a younger sister named LJ. Ugh…don’t ask.

4. While I’m on the topic of names, almost all of the children on my dad’s side of the family share some variation of the name ‘Chris’ in memory of my late grandfater, Crispin. Such as…Chris, Christy, Crystal, Christian, Crizalynn, etc.

5. I used to be in air cadets and even earned my first year rank! lol I probably would have stuck with it had I not moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver.

6. Oh yeah…I was born in Winnipeg.

7. I used to work as a DNA Analyst for Orchid Helix.

8. I can count from 1-10 in seven different languages…hahaha. English, French, Tagalog, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, and Polish.

9. I studied Italian Opera and Musical Theatre (vocal) for several years.

10. I *hate* getting rain on my glasses…and my husband *always* laughs and bugs me about it.

11. I have a small tattoo on my lower back. Three Chinese characters depicting…Truth, Wisdom, & Tranquility.

12. If I weren’t a photographer, I would want to be singing on Broadway!

13. I don’t drink alcohol. I don’t smoke. I’ve never tried drugs.

14. I love candles…and dried mangoes.

15. I honestly enjoy watching sports with my husband…hockey (go Canucks!), basketball (go Suns!), football (Seahwaks fan here), baseball (Mariners fan as well), and even UFC!

16. I’ve been wanting to become a vegetarian for a while now, but I just find it difficult. Then again, it really isn’t that difficult. I don’t know why I continue to just make up excuses because really, I could honestly live without meat of any kind.

17. I truly admire my sister-in-law for being such a devout vegetarian…and she’s a vegetarian for all the right reasons!

18. I laugh at all of my husband’s jokes…even when they’re not really funny. I laugh way too easily.

19. I’ve developed a bad habit of reading too many books at one time…and I have a growing stack of new books on my bedside table. My husband says I can’t buy anymore until I finish them…but every so often, a new book hits the pile :)

20. I own way too many tubes of lipstick, lipgloss, and chapstick.
